About Liz
My Work
Much of my work is inspired by my childhood.
Being a tomboy with a Scandinavian grandmother, growing up Wyoming during the 80s and 90s. My illustrations and pattern motifs are quirky and cool with a retro, folk flair.
I also draw inspiration from the natural world, the celestial and hard rock metal music. I use a variety of mediums, from watercolors to markers and digital applications like Procreate, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Biography
Though I'm a professionally trained photographer, I've always had a passion for fine art and graphic design. Before becoming a mom, I worked as a creative director in Boulder, CO. Once my son was born, I decided to work independently to create art and design for myself- and you! I discovered surface design while printing my own fabrics to decorate my home, and haven't looked back.
I currently live in Atlanta, GA with my husband, son and a hamster named Nacho. I love to craft, hike through nature, bake and decorate cookies, and practice yoga and meditation.
